Wort is transferred to the whirlpool tangentially above the liquid level, which promotes temperature homogeneity and prevents the condensing of volatiles back into the wort. This also aids in trub formation.
Taurus Engineering Combi-Kettle design for higher brew lengths offers wort boiling and whirlpool operations in one combination vessel. This eliminates vessel to vessel transfer time and reduces the stand time between the end of boil and start of wort cooling.

Energy efficient single-stage wort cooling ensures that the wort is cooled to the required temperature in a single pass. The water return from the cooler is reused in the subsequent brew.
